Northern Colorado Jiu Jitsu Programs

Adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 

NOCO Jiujitsu provides a safe and challenging environment to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Our black belt instructors have years of experience teaching and competing in the sport. We offer classes for kids, teens, and adults of all levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced martial artist, we have a course that will challenge and improve you.

Children’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Anti-Bullying 

Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Anti-Bullying program is the perfect way for children to learn how to defend themselves while also understanding the importance of anti-bullying techniques. Our certified instructors will ensure that your child has a safe, enjoyable, and educational experience. Our program helps children build self-confidence, discipline, and respect. In addition to learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, your child will also learn how to effectively deal with bullies using verbal and physical techniques.

Judo 

There is a Judo program in NOCO Jiujitsu – one of the pioneers of Brazilian Jiujitsu. The program is headed by Head Professor Troy Pettyjohn. Professor Troy Pettyjohn has been training and teaching for over 43 years and has helped develop some of the top talents in Brazilian Jiujitsu.

The Judo program in NOCO Jiujitsu is geared towards beginners, with the goal of giving students a strong foundation in the basics of judo. Students are taught how to throw and takedown opponents, as well as how to apply joint locks and chokeholds. The program also covers the basics of Brazilian Jiujitsu, teaching students how to submit an opponent from on the ground.

The Judo program in NOCO Jiujitsu is an excellent way to learn self-defense skills, and it can also help improve your grappling skills for Brazilian Jiujitsu competitions. The instructors are highly-skilled and passionate about teaching, and they are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. Women’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 

NOCO Jiujitsu offers a women’s program that is designed to help students of all levels learn the art of Brazilian jiujitsu. The program is led by our Certified and Talented instructors, who have been training and teaching Brazilian jiujitsu for over a decade. All of our instructors hold a black belt and they bring their years of experience and knowledge to the women’s program at NOCO Jiujitsu.

The women’s program at NOCO Jiujitsu is unique in that it offers a variety of classes that cater to students of all levels. Whether you are a beginner who is just starting out, or you are an experienced martial artist looking to improve your skills, NOCO Jiujitsu has a class for you. In addition to offering classes for all skill levels, the women’s program at NOCO Jiujitsu also focuses on self-defense. If you are interested in learning how to defend yourself in a dangerous situation, then the women’s program at NOCO Jiujitsu is the right choice for you.

Law Enforcement & First Responders Defensive Tactics and Arrest Control

NOCO Jiujitsu offers a comprehensive Law Enforcement & First Responders Defensive Tactics and Arrest Control program. The program is designed to provide officers with the skills and knowledge necessary to control and arrest suspects in a safe and effective manner. The curriculum includes techniques for striking, grappling, and weapon retention. The program also provides officers with the knowledge necessary to respond to various types of threats and assaults.

The Law Enforcement & First Responders Defensive Tactics and Arrest Control program is taught by certified NOCO Jiujitsu instructors who have years of experience in law enforcement and martial arts.
